We are open and accepting patients for nearly all studies, including routine and elective exams. In accordance with CDC and American College of Radiology recommendations, we continue to use extreme caution in patient screening and masking. Please contact our Radiology team with any questions, we are happy to discuss your patient’s care.


In light of the COVID-19 outbreak we continue practicing enhanced screening, cleaning protocols, social distancing and exam spacing at all of our centers.

Our location is practicing “Safety Scheduling” for all exams. The health of our patients and staff is our highest priority. By adding time to each appointment our patients are kept separated from others and we are ensuring all rooms and equipment are cleaned before each exam.
All scheduled patients will be screened during appointment confirmation calls.
All scheduled patients will also be screened at their time of check-in.
Please call to reschedule your appointment if you have a cough, fever and/or shortness of breath or if you have been in close contact with someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

No walk-in patients.
No visitor or companion may come in the center.
Caregivers may assist patients entering the center and then leave during the exam.

      Piedmont Imaging is conveniently located in Spartanburg’s Historic District on 684 North Pine Street. We have been a staple resource for outpatient radiology for over 20 years. We proudly serve patients throughout the upstate and also accommodate those traveling from North Carolina areas such as Polk County, Rutherford County and Cherokee County.

      Our quality imaging services include 3T High Field MRI, High Field Open MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-ray at a third of the cost compared to other radiology facilities. We accept all major insurance, provide good-faith estimates and offer payment plans to help ensure the most affordable options for patients.

      Our onsite board-certified radiologist, seasoned clinical staff and management team members are dedicated to customer service, patient safety and overall excellence in diagnostic imaging care. Most of our radiologists are fellowship trained in specialty areas, including breast imaging, cardiovascular imaging, computed tomography (CT), interventional radiology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, neurointerventional, nuclear medicine and pediatric radiology.       Clean facility, courteous staff, quickly got me in and out. Got a CD before I left with my x-rays. Plenty of parking, comfortable waiting area, easy to locate from normal traffic.

      Super clean and inviting. The CT Tech, Stacy, was incredibly friendly and professional and had me in and out of the procedure room in less than five minutes. For future imaging I will definitely request that my primary care refer me back to here and would recommend the same to friends and family.

      The first time I came here was for my brain MRI. There was a lot of paperwork but everything went smoothly. The second time I went was for my neck, thoracic, and lumbar MRI. I was having some pain and headaches this day but everything still went ok. The only complaint I have is during the second visit, I came in the evening and did not know that they will not do MRI with contrast in the evenings. Make sure your doctor and his/her staff know this important fact, that the staff here may fail to share.
