Arthrograms typically take up to 30 minutes or more.
Our technologist will prepare and guide you by explaining the procedure and positioning you to ensure the highest quality images are obtained from your exam.
A needle is placed into the joint for the arthrogram and contrast and/or medication are put into the joint after taking out any fluid from the joint.
Once the exam is complete, a radiologist will review the study and dictate a report. This report will be sent to the doctor who ordered your study.
Results are available within 24 - 48 hours.
